I’m Andrew VanDyke, a full-stack engineer who spent four years wiring factory automation before moving into software. That background still shapes how I work. I like systems that keep working after the demo is over.
These days I build LLM agent systems (LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI), algorithmic trading infrastructure (TCN and RL models running as paper-trading systems), and production web apps in React/TypeScript, Python, and Clojure. Before contracting I shipped SaaS features at TeamGantt for three years on a React/Laravel/Clojure stack.
The controls background is the common thread. I care about instrumentation, putting limits around the risky parts, and being honest about whether something is actually working.
